What is the ranking based on? The size of the deal? the number of office or what else

the standard looks like the number of total lawyers and partners.......

there are two firms by the name "Deacons" (one in Australia and one in Hong Kong) I think you mixed them up in the list

on line 12, "Deacons", 472 (should be Australia, not Hong Kong)

in addition, around the 260 lawyer mark, there should be another firm "Deacons" (Hong Kong) with Lindsay Esler as Managing Partner

as such, the last firms on the top 50 list would be "knocked-off"
