Mayer Brown JSM has elected Alan Chiu, Ashley Wong and Wilson Wong to its partnership in Hong Kong, as part of a total of 21 promotions worldwide.
Chiu, an IP expert, handles both transaction and litigation-related matters in Hong Kong and the PRC, recently advising Norwich Pharmacal in its application and contempt proceedings as well as counselling companies in negotiations with China’s State Food and Drug Administration. He also has particular expertise in information technology matters.
Specialising in banking and finance matters within the aviation sector, Ashley Wong has advised airlines and lessors on financing and aircraft trading transactions as well as commercial contracts. She also has experience in counselling airlines on complex commercial agreements, covering long-term engine service agreements and big-ticket equipment procurement programmes.
Wilson Wong focuses on real-estate financing, and has represented Hong Kong-based banks and financial institutions in secured and unsecured lending transactions.
