Former academic and public officer PK Agrawal joins Indian firm Khaitan & Co as partner in charge of real-estate, and will be responsible for the practice advising on Indian land laws on various real estate transactions.
Before joining the firm, Agrawal served various positions within local universities, during which he authored key texts on land reform and environmental issues, and in the country’s Environment & Forest departments.
The appointment follows the firm's December hire of Manas Kumar Chaudhuri from rival J Sagar Associates to head its competition practice.
