Ashurst has appointed Dean Moroz as counsel in its Hong Kong international investment funds group. Moroz, who is experienced in PE, real estate and hedge funds matters, will specifically focus on the investment funds practice in Greater China.
Ashurst’s new counsel joins the firm from Vision Investment Management; he has previously worked at Linklaters Hong Kong.
His appointment coincides with the relocation of fellow counsel Mark Davies from Ashurst’s Tokyo office to Singapore. Moroz’s appointment brings the number of lawyers in the firm’s international investment funds group to nine, seven of whom are partners.
