Audrey Shum, Partner, Stephsenson Harwood
Audrey Shum advises clients on protection and exploitation of intellectual property rights and conducts and manages complex IP litigation in Hong Kong and China. She also advises clients on technology export and import issues and other related regulatory issues in China. Audrey assists her clients to review and draft commercial agreements including software license agreements, manufacturing, technology transfer and agreements concerning the exploitation of intellectual property rights. She also handles the IP related issues for mergers and acquisitions in Hong Kong and China. Clients include pharmaceutical, software, online game and high-tech companies and financial institutions. Audrey obtained her LLB (Hons) from the University of Hong Kong and her LLM (Hons) from the University of Cambridge. She was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 1999 and in England and Wales in 2000.

Alan Chiu advises on a diversified range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property (IP) and information technology (IT) law for both Hong Kong and the PRC. This includes enforcement actions of IP rights, PRC customs seizures, licensing and assignment of IP rights, trademark opposition and domain name registration. Alan also assists in defamatory lawsuits for celebrities and various entertainment matters including music and film contracts. He obtained his qualifications from The University of Hong Kong, LLM in Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law as well as King's College London, LLM in Computer and Telecommunications Law.
