The webinar will cover the key issues that should be addressed when considering a joint venture. These issues include the form and scope of the joint venture, capital and funding requirements, corporate governance and reserved matters, deadlock and dispute resolution arrangements and exit and termination events. Participants will also learn what factors should be considered when drafting dispute resolution clauses for inclusion in joint venture agreements, and also to learn what sort of clauses may prove difficult to enforce were litigation to ensue over such agreements, as a result of illegality or other grounds.

Nick Norris, Partner, Skadden
Nick Norris is a partner and co-head of the firm's corporate practice in Asia (ex-Japan). Richard Hudson, Partner, Deacons
Richard Hudson has extensive experience of a broad range of Commercial Litigation matters, including Contentious Insolvency, Contentious Probate, Banking Litigation, Property Litigation, Cross-Border Disputes, Employment Litigation (notably relating to restraint of trade issues) and Shareholders' and Partnership Disputes. He also advises clients in relation to investigations brought and proceedings conducted in Hong Kong by the Securities and Futures Commission and the Independent Commission Against Corruption.
