Lawyers from Australia's mid-size firms have delivered Mallesons a remarkable endorsement, listing the firm as one of their top choices as a place to work. This was one of the more intriguing results of ALB's 2010 Employer of Choice survey, which is due to be published in full in the March edition (issue 8.3) of ALB magazine.

This year's survey incorporates an improved methodology, allowing ALB to also give results that are unbiased by the relative number of responses coming from each firm. Using this methodology, ALB was able to determine that Mallesons was ranked as the most desirable destination by mid-tier lawyers against several criteria, including quality of work and clients, professional development and reputation. However, Mallesons was absent from the list of top firms for work/ life balance.

Several mid-size firms and New Zealand firms also shone in the Employer of Choice survey. The identity of these firms will be revealed when the full results of the survey are published this month in issue 8.3 of ALB magazine.
