New Zealand firm Simpson Grierson has added two new partners. Banking and finance specialist James Caird is a new lateral recruit while local government and infrastructure specialist Gerald Lanning has been promoted from within the firm’s ranks.
Caird specialises in insolvency, restructuring, banking and finance and litigation and has joined the commercial litigation group from Bell Gully.
Lanning has been promoted to partner in the local government and environment department. He advises on all aspects of resource management and local government law, with particular expertise in the transport and infrastructure sectors.
