DLA Phillips Fox New Zealand has made three senior appointments across its two offices.
In the firm’s Auckland real estate team, senior associate Karyn Thomson has been promoted to special counsel, while fellow colleague Kirsty-Anne Singleton has been promoted to senior associate. Thomson specialises in commercial and local government property law and is broadly experienced in all aspects of commercial property work, while Singleton specialises in commercial property law, with a particular focus on commercial acquisitions and disposals, subdivisions and leasing.
The Wellington office has also added to its team, with the appointment of senior associate Ronni Cabraal in the employment and dispute resolution division. Cabraal has specialised in employment law for 10 years and also has a background in the areas of privacy and official information law. She has extensive experience acting for both large corporate and public sector clients in all aspects of employment law. Cabraal has also worked in-house where she gained an understanding of operational HR matters and the requirements of strategic thinking and planning in HR.
