Hynes Lawyers' new partner Warren Jiear is a man with a vision for commercial litigation & restructuring. After working 15 years for Queensland full-service firm Quinn & Scattini, he realised that his practice would not suit the shopfront, general practice approach it had taken.
Not long after this realisation, a friend contacted him and offered to set up a meeting with Hynes' managing partner Robert Hynes. "I found the way we approached issues was the same and Hynes seemed to have a really strong, organised working culture," said Jiear on his decision to join the firm.
Some of Jiear's staff have also moved to Hynes, including insolvency lawyers Tim Mitchell and Georgia Fletcher, and litigation law clerk Amanda Hickey.
The firm also recently appointed Kerrin Anderson, the former Brisbane head of IP boutique firm Francis Abourizk Lightowlers.
