Dispute resolution-focused Haig Oghigian has left Paul Hastings' Tokyo office after less than two years with the firm to take up with the fast-growing Japan practice of Baker & McKenzie. Before moving to Paul Hastings in early 2006, Oghigian was with Jones Day.

Oghigian is a dispute resolution professional with experience representing both Japanese and international clients in international commercial arbitrations, particularly with cross-border M&A, JVs, and licensing and distribution agreements.

The firm previously appointed another international dispute resolution lawyer Hideyuki Kobayashi as a partner in July, when he joined from Anderson Mori & Tomotsune.
