Vincent Mulvey has joined the Abu Dhabi office of US energy specialist Baker Botts as a partner in its projects, infrastructure and trade finance practices.
Mulvey joins the firm from the Dubai office of Gulf stalwart Denton Wilde Sapte where he worked on such transactions as Abu Dhabi's 'Industrial City' projects and Mashreqbank PSC on a number of deals such as the DIC's bid for the Liverpool Football Club.
Last month the firm brought on board former US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Robert Jordan, as its new Gulf head. Jordan replaced long-time Middle East managing partner David Emmons, who returned to the firm's head office in Dallas.
