Former Minter Ellison senior associate, Lisa-Marie McKechnie, has joined Mills Oakley Sydney as partner.
McKechnie joins the national litigation team with more than 12 years’ experience acting for trustees and life insurers across all jurisdictions. She has acted in landmark decisions such as Sayseng vs Kellogg Superannuation Fund; Crowe vs Stevedoring Employees Retirement Fund; and Ivan Mabbett v Watson Wyatt.
Mills Oakley has poached a number of senior legal professionals from competing firms this year including Clayton Utz special counsel Luke Connolly and Holding Redlich commercial property specialist Andrew Johnson.
