Former Mallesons partner Greg Lewis has joined Middletons as a special counsel. Lewis, a prominent insolvency and restructuring expert, resumes practice after a brief hiatus after leaving Mallesons.

In Perth, Corrs senior associate Simon Rear has joinied Allion Legal as a principal in the corporate  group. Managing principal Philip Lucas expressed the view that both senior and junior lawyers were on the move across the market.  “We believe the continuing upheaval in the legal industry along with the growth of Allion’s brand in WA and our strategy to be a leading corporate WA law firm has enabled us to attract young ‘guns’ like Simon as well as a number of other senior and junior ‘top tier’ lawyers,” said Lucas.
