Mark Allen Cohen, senior intellectual property attache at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, has joined Jones Day’s Beijing office as of counsel, focusing on intellectual property and technology transfer matters.

Cohen served as an attorney-adviser for the Office of International Relations of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and was involved in bilateral patent and trademark prosecution, Internet copyright enforcement, civil litigation technical assistance, anti-monopoly law, domain name dispute resolution, standards setting and technology transfer initiatives.
