What has six wheels, travels 1,000 kilometres and has an impeccable grasp of the law? It is Holding Redlich's Brisbane managing partner Michael Byrom, Arnold Bloch Leibler partner Alex King and Gadens partner Rob Hinton (pictured) participating in the Chain Reaction Challenge.
The trio will take part in the annual cycling event to raise money for the Starlight Children's Foundation and Palsy Education Centre. They will be four out of a total of 36 executive participants on a long-distance ride from Tasmania to Melbourne from 7th to 13th of March.
The trip will take them to some of Tasmania's most picturesque yet physically challenging terrain. They should not have too much trouble though, since they will be trained by triathlon world champion Emma Carney.
Apart from raising money for a good cause, King hopes that cycling will help him avoid 'middle-age spread'. Hinton on the other hand, believes that it will be a good opportunity to network and relieve stress.
