Hesketh Henry has appointed former Bell Gully senior associate Stephen Layburn as a partner in the corporate & commercial team.
Layburn’s s principal areas of expertise are commercial and business law with a particular emphasis on corporate advisory, transactional (M&A), securities markets and venture capital and private equity matters. He has also advised on regulatory and governance matters across a range of sectors including energy, horticulture, mining and technology.
Hesketh Henry earlier this year lost corporate specialist Ewe Leong Lim and property expert Sylvia Cheah to Anthony Harper following the latter firm’s decision to maintain a permanent Auckland office.
