Melbourne-based firm Madgwicks has added a new partner to the ranks with former Herbert Geer partner Marina Papas joining the firm.

With significant experience in M&A, complex due diligence and commercial agreements, Papas will further bolster Madgwicks' burgeoning commercial team. She has close to 20 years’ experience in general commercial and corporate work and is recognised for her willingness and ability to foster longstanding client and referral relationships.

This is the third partner appointment at Madgwicks in as many months, following the appointment of former partner at Frenkel Partners, Ed Browne and the promotion of Dr Sue Harris. “The firm has entered 2011 in a strong position, and we are looking forward to continued growth.  Marina's appointment will serve to further strengthen our position in an ever changing legal market," said Madgwicks managing partner, Peter Kennedy.
