Former Mallesons Stephen Jaques senior associate, Brad Robinson, has joined Corrs Chambers Westgarth as a partner. Robinson is an experienced banking, finance and debt capital markets lawyer and will join the firm’s Melbourne office.
Robinson has extensive experience in banking and finance practice, acting for borrowers, financiers, arrangers, sponsors and other market participants in relation to securities offerings in the international and domestic debt capital markets, project and infrastructure finance and corporate and acquisition finance transactions. His experience also includes more than four years in London practicing in the debt capital markets, securitisation and acquisition finance areas.
He has worked on several high profile deals in recent times, including the successful bid by Southern Way Consortium to build and operate the A$759m toll free Peninsula Link highway in Victoria.
Robinson is the fifth partner appointment at Corrs in recent months. The firm has flagged intentions to expand "by at least a third" through internal promotions and lateral recruitment over the next five years.
