Clifford Chance has reorganised its capital markets practices in Singapore and Hong Kong. The firm will also lose Hong Kong partner Alex Lloyd to Sidley Austin.
Lloyd is set to leave the firm at the end of April for Sidley Austin’s Hong Kong capital markets practice. The securities and capital markets specialist advised Hong Kong, German and Indian clients on US laws.
CC has filled the partner departure by relocating head of Asia capital markets Crawford Brickley from Singapore to Hong Kong, as well as bringing in Julian Perlmutter, a senior consultant from the London office in late February. In Singapore, the firm has promoted senior associate Johannes Juette to senior consultant.
