Deacons has boosted its financial and investment services practice - and partnership ranks - with the hire of former Ebsworth & Ebsworth partner Scott Charaneka in Sydney.

Chareneka has specialised in superannuation and life insurance for around 10 years, and has worked in-house at Legal & General and ING.

Chareneka's hire is part of a push by Deacons into servicing banks, insurance companies, major super funds and other financial institutions.
