Peter Yuen, Partner, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer
His practice focuses on China related business disputes, international arbitrations, regulatory and corporate compliance related investigations, competition litigation and IT/IP related disputes. Peter is qualified to practice English and Hong Kong law, and is a graduate of Oxford University and Cornell University. Peter has been recognised in the 2010 Global Arbitration Review Who’s Who and is a member of the Board of the Institute for Transnational Arbitration. Peter is also a contributing editor of the Hong Kong White Book and is a contributor to the Sweet and Maxwell book, the Civil Justice Reform Manual.

Peter handles complex disputes and antitrust matters in China, the United States, and worldwide. He leads Jones Day's antitrust practice in China and is Partner-in-Charge of the Shanghai Office. Peter has extensive knowledge in China and U.S. antitrust matters. He has handled significant U.S. and Chinese government antitrust investigations of proposed mergers and acquisitions, including GM's acquisition of Delphi's global steering business, Alcatel's merger with Lucent, America Online's merger with Time Warner, and Procter & Gamble's acquisition of Clairol. He also has been involved in many nonmerger investigations and antitrust litigation.
