DEAL SUMMARY

ONGC Tripura Power Company project financing of power plant

FML had been working on the deal since last September, after successfully bidding for the project to PFC, which is a close client of the firm.

Rajesh Sehgal, FML team: "It was challenging," since ONGC being a Navratna company is on the Board of the OTPC. For us it was the first time we had done a deal with ONGC and the captive natural gas based power stations interconnected with the power project.”

Gas-based power plant which generate 726.6 (2 x 363.3 MW) at Palatana in Udaipur District, Tripura State.

No other law firms were involved in the deal.
