DEAL SUMMARY

Norwest Venture Partners acquires 2.11% of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) of India from IL&FS Securities Services Limited for approximately US$50.5m.

Deal follows Ministry of Finance clarification of foreign institutional investor rules to hold up to 23% Indian exchange's equity.
